I have the original Star Wars Trilogy Sourcebook and was wondering if anybody could explain what is different in the Special Edition Sourcebook? Is it just a couple of extra creatures or more?

You mean the Movie Trilogy Sourcebook and Special Edition Trilogy Sourcebook? Names are similar, but the content is different. MTS is combination of three GG, chapters are by movie scenes (more less). SETS is divided into categories like starfighters, creatures, planets and is purely based on movies with some addition about Courscant, while MTS introduce many new short stories and details not from film or books (The Briefing of Red Group, Mutiny on the Rand Eclipc, Artoo's Tale or Ewok Defenses etc.). There may be some differences in number of described vehicles, characters and so on.

In your opinion, are they both worth owning?

Before we take any of this too seriously, just remember that in the middle episode a little rubber puppet moves a spaceship with his mind.

Not sure what is your definition of "worth owning" Smile. MT is worth for many 'short stories' that appeared only there. I haven't read any, but I am happy to feel I have them Wink. SET on the other hand looks great on the shelf and when opened.
