I've recently come back from trying Saga and big surprise feel the WEG Star Wars is THE Star Wars system.
Anyways just curious what fellow GMs classify as their must have books while running an adventure/campaign.
My must haves are:
* R&E Core Book (of course)
* Star Wars SB
* Rebel Alliance SB
* Imperial SB
* Star Wars Trilogy SB
I mainly run in the Classic Era so I feel I really don't need much more than that.... Thoughts?? |

To your list I'd add:
*Movie Trilogy SB
As I mainly run post-Classic Era campaigns I'd add:
*Thrawn Trilogy SB
*NJO SB (from D20)
*All New Essential Guides for Droids/Technology&Weapons/Starships&Vehicles/Alien Races (because these are the most up-to-date books). _________________ Nico,

I'm with jmanski. I go to Rules of engagement quite a lot. I also use the 2nd Edition, R&E corebook and the 2nd Edition, R&E GM screen a good bit. Then to a lesser degree I pull out the Tales of the Jedi Companion for grabbing Force Powers as it's got most if not all of the WEG Force powers in it.
But outside of the offical sources I rely heavily on Gry's stats pdfs and the conversion PDFs. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

I use the R&E core book, a custom screen I made with the combat stuff inside of it, the Tales of the Jedi Companion (mainly for Force Powers), the Starships stats guide, and the collection of known races and racial stats (to toss interesting aliens at my players - lol). |

Ups, sorry, I misunderstood that you have SE. A lot not, but it certainly has a lot of more pictures (and in color) that can be handy for players with less knowledge of SW universe. I find b&w photos from movies in old-style WEG books sometimes unclear. I think SE and MT supplement (I am not sure if this is the write word) each other. _________________ Nico,
