Welll to be honest the TL-1800 is more a Buget model, also having constantly worked on cars in the past, I will say older cars often were made more durable, and more solidly, have seen more "Modern" cars.. crushed in wrecks with 1963 Impalas for instance where the impala was barely damamaged, durability depends on a number of factors........ not just age of deisgn but what the engineers want out of it, what the company wants outa their product, and a number of things, quality of worksmanship going into it when made and other things.....
And thanks for the Kudos everyone!!! _________________ The Empire: We'z Ownz ALL yer'z Star Destoyerz!!! |

True.. The first car i owned was a boat of a vehicle (73 chrysler newport) and i had 2 accidents in that where i barely got dings, but later vehicles got a good dent or more. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
