Well you know, basic stuff all in a couple of screens (scale stuff, difficulties, prices etc.) all updated to second edition. There are some very nice PDF docs that could just be turned into images and uploaded instead of the old information....

I wouldn't count on too much updating to the Rancorpit site, really. Though the website existed long before the forums did, Loc Taal doesn't seem to be too interested in building on the site. He's a busy guy with lots of other priorities. I think that would be the most direct answer to your first question.
As to why no e-mail notification when I responded... that I don't know. The messages get lost on the way to Japan, maybe?
