EDIT: Hey y'all, I'm taking requests!
So we (my group and I) have been trying to find a piece of artwork that would accurately portray one of our PCs - a Rodian Jedi - that had the "feel" of the character.
The closest that we came was this (I knocked it together as one of my first real photoshop projects).
However, it portrayed an earlier version of the character and I wanted something that looked more like the character as he is in our upcoming sequel campaign.
Then I found this from the original d20 RPG. It was remarkably close, but their were a few things wrong with it. So I fired up photoshop and using this picture for a couple of "parts".
About 30 mins later I pulled this out of my @$$.

Yeah, I saw that but I felt was a little ridiculous for the campaign and character. |

Good work! A big improvement on the original, IMO. I do a lot of photoshopping images to make characters for my game too.
I see that the original had a lightsaber that was removed from your game's character. Does your Rodian Jedi not have a lightsaber, or is it always kept hidden? _________________ *

It was a combination of not really liking that lightsaber hilt and thinking, "Why the hell is it at that funky angle?"
He also tended to rely on hand-to-hand most of the time, preferring to only use the saber when it was necessary. |

So I made another version of the same character, this being his Jedi Knight/Adventuring Clothes. Check it out here.
This was the original picture that I built it upon. |

Unlike a lot of fan art stuff, I quite enjoy the tasteful choices you've made with your manipulations _________________ Hotaru no Hishou; a messageboard about games, friends and nothing at all.

A lot of the stuff I find is so close to what I and the player want for a character. However, there's always a detail missing it seems (just not enough artists put turbans on their Rodians) so I worked out "what a photoshop does" and away I went. |

I'm looking for a new challenge by the way, so if you have an image that you want to use for a character but, there's something about the image that isn't quite right. Post the details here and I'll see what I can do with it. I enjoy making Star Wars-based photo manipulations, and any chance to see what I can do with photoshop is a challenge that I'm willing to give a go at. |

One more for the road!
Here.
This is actually a vision one of the old players had, obviously inspired by Luke's experiences in the tree. |
