Combat:
-Called shot and shot options from D6 space (single shot, burst shot, full auto shot)
-Covering fire rules from SpecForce (+1 to difficulty per shot fired as covering fire, +1 difficulty level per burst fired from automatic weapon)
--Single shot, as normal
--Multi shot, max of 3 per round. +1d to hit and +1d to damage
--Automatic, max of 1 per round. +2d to hit and +2d to damage
Equipment:
All blasters will have new options on fire modes, single fire, multi-fire, and automatic, which will determine which types of attacks you are capable of. Generally military weapons are capable of multi-fire, while only specialized weapons are automatic as well as a few heavier rifles that specifically note rapid rates of fire.
Damage:
-Will use the body point system instead of the standard damage soak system. Armor/shields will still function in the same way in reduction of damage. Body points for PC's are calculated as 30+4 per strength die and +1 per strength pip. (3d strength - 42 body points, 3d+2 - 44 body points, 4d = 46 body points etc).
-Effects of damage are as follows:
---Stunned when 80-60% body points remaining (-1d to all remaining actions in round)
---Wounded when 59-40% body points remaining (-1d to actions until healed)
---Severely wounded when 39-20% body points remaining (-2d to actions until healed)
---Incapacitated when 19-10% body points remaining (unconscious, no actions, may stay conscious with moderate Stamina or Willpower roll)
---Mortally wounded when 1-9% body points remaining (unconscious, roll strength each round if roll is under # of minutes character has been MW, then dies)
---Dead on 0% or lower body points
Healing:
-Assisting healing with medical kit is based on the following table:
--Medicine roll of 0 = 0 body points recovered
--Medicine roll of 1-5 = 2 body points recovered
--Medicine roll of 6=10 = 1d body points recovered
--Medicine roll of 11-15 = 2d body points recovered
--Medicine roll of 16 = 3d body points recovered
--Medicine roll of 21-25 = 4d body points recovered
--Medicine roll of 26-30 = 5d body points recovered
--Medicine roll of 31+ = 6d body points recovered
Natural Healing is done via the same table, except after day of rest you roll your strength and look at above table
Initiative:
-Will be rolled once at the start of combat, will keep that number throughout combat for simplification.
