Was curious as to how everyone else runs sensors in their games, ie do certain types of sensors only give out certain type of info. Reading through the books it more of less leaves it up to the GM as to what readings the sensors give you and the book just states about ranges and directions. |

To me the special sensors listed, eg lifesigns, grav etc are just that. Special, cause normal ones wont differentiate. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I've not really done a whole lot with sensor rolls. If there is pertinent information about what is going on in space, I usually tell the players in terms of "your sensors indicate..." I've done very little with sensor rolls in searching for things or trying to detect a hidden pursuer or something of that sort. _________________ __________________________________
