I know the official rules never mention it but since force lightning dose electrical damage would it not also ionize droids. |

I always think of ion damage as an EMP, disrupts electronics, but doesn't harm organics. Force lightning to me is the the same type of damage as regular lightning, destroying electronic and organic matter alike. _________________ This new hand, it's a fightin' hand! |

I would think that the only ionizing occurring is in the air resulting in the smell of ozone. But what does it really matter against the likes of someone like Palpatine who does 7D damage, more than enough to fry every circuit in the droid.
Here's a good question though what are the affects of ion weapons on droid? I realize it would do stun-like damage but its still going to require a manual restart and perhaps some minor fixes (replace fuses?). There has to be some point where ion damage is going to "kill" a droid. |
