Renaming the Fan Made Sourcebooks

...pulling this out from another thread to save a hijacked Privateer (oh, the irony!)

So, we have Gry's Starship, Alien, Droids, Weapons and Equipment Stats Books. (Did cheshire help with the compilation of these, too?)

Post your new title suggestions here, I'll start:

Commander Gry's Starship Compendium
Cheshire's Equipment: Gadgets for every occasion
Gry's Guns, Guns, Guns!

Heh... no. I didn't get in on things that early. I had other priorities at the time. There was only one of Gry's books that I got in on before the conversion guides. That was the Force Powers book.

I'm honored to think that you would mention my name mentioned alongside his, though. I just haven't merited it with any of the other books he's done.

You forgot the Creatures and Vehicles books.

I think I would like the whole series have the same variation of a single name, so that they all felt connected and you could reference the whole lot of them by a single name (currently mostly called "Gry's books").

I'm not absolutely sure the name must be Gry Sarth-related, though I do like the idea. Just a bit of background on Gry, though: He was an Alliance Lieutenant fighter pilot who eventually left the military when the Rebellion became the New Republic and went into the merc business.

To sum it up, the books that would fall into this series would be: Alien Species, Creatures, Droids, Vehicles, Starships, Equipment, Weapons and Force Powers (with a future NPCs book always in my mind).

"Lieutenant Gry's Field Manuals?"

Maybe each one could have a little intro/forward by Lieutenant Gry much like the Galaxy Guides, and Cracken series have thier own characters "telling" the book. Maybe even the occasional side note on a favored item.

They could be numbered FM-1 (Aliens), FM-2 (Droids) and so forth.

Gry could even put a R/Revsion number in the tittle (Like FM-1R3) so that if/wen something gets updated, everyone can tell if they have the latest version.
