I was looking through this book today, and there are about 20 items that haven't been appeared in D6 as of yet (excluding the NPCs, of course).
I'll list them below. Since there are very few new items it shouldn't take much time. Though I don't think that it should take priority over the Legacy book.
SPECIES
Mantellian sarvips as PCs p. 117
Replica droid as playable species – p. 153
EQUIPMENT
Data dagger – p 13
Rhen-orm biocomputer – p 17
Jango’s gear – p19
Cortosis gauntlet p. 45
Slicer gear p. 87
CREATURES
Correlian banshee bird – 106
Canyon kryt dragon 115
Tyrant rancor p. 123
Varactyl p. 126
DROIDS
Artillery droid p 124
ASN assassin droid p. 135
R2-R astromech droid p. 139
Demolitions droid p. 144
Espionage droid p. 145
Interrogation droid p. 146
Sabotage droid – p. 154
Mark VII seeker droid – p. 156 _________________ __________________________________

I think I've already converted all of this stuff, except for the NPCs. I just wasn't thinking about individual PDFs at the time. I'll see about throwing them together. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

The other day, I was looking through the threads, and I noticed that there wasn't any conversion thread for this book and the core rulebook. The latter I could understand for the most part, but like cheshire said about Threats, there might be some things in the core book that haven't appeared in d6 yet. I know stun and stasis haven't, but I don't know about the equipment section. |

Well, Gry, if all the stuff has appeared before, then there isn't a need for a new conversion guide. So, if it's all there and I just missed it on my breeze through it, then disregard my post.
The main rulebook has also been on my mind, but I haven't combed through it to see if there is anything new in it. My guess would be no. But I haven't verified that as of yet. Either way, it would be so slim that other works demand our attention first. We hadn't decided to do these conversion guides until well after the main rulebook came out, so it really hasn't undergone much scrutiny. _________________ __________________________________

Yeesh. I'm not looking forward to that day. I've got a program that helps you tackle them. But it's not completely geared for the Saga Edition.
Who knows. Maybe if the production schedule slows down in 09 or 2010, then we can get around to them. I just don't see that we have the time. _________________ __________________________________

I think you'll have a better shot next year. I mean you got one sourcebook coming out every two months for the rest of the year. But if they do plan on releasing one in November, I doubt it'll be one for the NJO/DN/LOTF/FOTJ timeframe. At least not until FOTJ ends and they cover some distance with the forthcoming Invasion comic.

Gry - do you have a listing anywhere of all the sourcebooks you've put together? Thanks for all your efforts! |

Now, did we determine that the equipment and weapons were already covered and that I just missed them? I don't think I've seen a cortosis gauntlet anywhere.
If not, I'll be happy to do the conversions tomorrow. (I guess technically later today.) _________________ __________________________________

What skill would you say for the gauntlet? Brawling parry? |

I would use that right along with the lightsaber parry roll. I would make that automatic with an excessively high defense roll.
Alternatively, we could make it a separate skill roll that on a successful deflect, the person may make an immediate Very Difficult brawling roll.
Either mechanic seems intuitive to me. Although I've done a fair amount of swordplay. _________________ __________________________________
