I am looking for some ideas/suggestions for a fill-in mission (relatively short and easy to organize on my part) that takes place primarily underwater. I have an alien species picked out already and the mode of transportation decided on.
I need to fill a little space before my group goes on to their next major mission. They currently on a resort planet that is 85% water. Two members of their team (NPCs), both Mon Calamari, have gone missing. I have a few different ideas but wanted some advice or feedback on each of the ideas.
1. They have been kidnapped by alien species that is distrustful of anyone of another species. They just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Characters need to perform rescue.
2. NPC's have discovered rare/unusual resource/relic/artifact (not sure what) and the indigenous aliens are suspicious of them.
3. Indigenous alien species sought out NPC's and asked for their aid in conflict with another alien species.
Thanks for any thoughts/suggestions/preferences on the ideas.

| i'm a fan of your first option. that story plot is usually short and sweet, with little mess. although your relic idea could have some very interesting story consequences down the road. |

You may want to check out "Battle for the Golden Sun" I was a published adventure that was set (at least partially) underwater. It also made use of the aquatic assault stormtroopers.
