Here is part of of a Sytem for constructing D6 Star Wars Ships I found. It is not my work but should be usefule for installing all sorts of aftermarket components on PCs and NPCs ships. I will post more in future installments. Enjoy. Very Happy

1. Determine Mass Limit:

The Mass Limit (ML) sets a theoretical limit on how much a starship weighs unloaded. In other words, without any cargo or other type of payload carried.

To callculate the mass limit use the following method:

Starfighters: Length^1.1+ Cargo/10
starfighter Scale Ships: Length^1.5+Cargo/10
Capital Scale Ships: Length^2.0+Cargo/10

IMPORTANT!: The amoutnt of cargo is NOT added to the Mass Limit when adding all masses togeather. It is only added to the Total Mass Limit (see #2 for details).

2. Determine Total Mass Limit:

The Total Mass Limit sets a theoretical limit on how much a starship weighs fully loaded, (I.E. with max cargo and maximum external payload).

Starfighters: Mass Limit x 1.2 + Cargo.
Starfighter Scale Ships: Mass Limit x1.2 + Cargo
Capital Scale Ships: Mass Limit x1.2 + Cargo

3.Time period/Age Modifier:

Time Period/Age Modifier (Sets the standard for when the starship was built and for any replacement systems installed after construction).

Multiply by the following amounts (Mass, Cost):

Old Republic: Mass: x2 to x9, Cost: 0.8 to 0.1
Clone Wars: Mass: x1.1, Cost: 0.9
Rebellion: Mass: x1, Cost: x1
New Republic: Mass: x0.9, Cost: x1.1
Dark Empire: Mass: x0.8, Cost: x1.2
New Jedi Order: Mass: x0.7, Cost: 1.3

4. Ship Systems:

Sublight Drives:

Mass: Mass Limit x Space Rating / 60
Cost: Mass Limit^0.5 x Space rating^2 x 50

Hyperdrive and Hyperdrive Backup:

*Hyperdrive:

Choose a hyperdrive multiplier. the modifier determines how much time a hyperspace jump takes (low Multiplier=Fast ship).

Mass: Mass Limit /(5 x Multiplier + 1)
Cost: 1300 x Mass Limit ^0.5 / Multiplier

*Hyperdrive Backup:

Some ships have a regular hyperdrive as a backup though it is slower then the main hyperdrive. For more limited backup hyperdrives you calculate the the backup hyperdrive as if it was a normal hyperdrive, but you insert the result into one of the fomulas below:

Needs Overhaul after each use:
Mass: x 3/4
Cost: 3/4

One Use Only:
Mass: 1/2
Cost: 1/2

Life support/consumables:

every starship has a life support system that allows the crew to survive in space. The life support system provides a breathable atmosphere and a gavitational enviroment capable of negating most of the g-effects from maneuvering, etc...

Mass: Number of Persons Carried x consumables, in days / 100
Cost: Number of Persons Carried x Consumables, in days x 10

*How to determine number of days:

24 hours = 1 Day
1 Week = 5 Days
1 Month = 35 Days
1 Year = 368 Days

More to come later feel free to use and critique this.
