Exactly, it could probably be a specialization or something. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

It is contextual in Star Wars d6. Diplomacy is a combination of Persuasion, Con and Bargain in d6... which you use is entirely dependent upon the context in which you are trying to influence the target. _________________ Hotaru no Hishou; a messageboard about games, friends and nothing at all.

I would put 'Diplomacy' as a Knowledge skill. Not directly influencing NPCs like for example Con, but it will give the PC the knowledge of how to interact in such circles. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

And that would fall under the ken of Cultures, Alien Species, and, depending on context, things like Business or Streetwise. _________________ Hotaru no Hishou; a messageboard about games, friends and nothing at all.

we labeled it as persuasion - it wasnt a big deal.

our new gm handed out 1 free specialization based on character concept.

my new hutt is a vosadii syndicate diplomat who uses his knowledge to help his kajidic control the shipping lanes. so I was given a free specialization in "diplomacy" it ended up being Persuasion - Oration.

thanks for the help though guys. |
