A quick question, what OS do you run on your computer? (more specifically the one you would use as aid when playing Star Wars).

i voted windows, but I also use linux.
best thing we can do is put it on the web  everyone can access a browser

Yeah, I'm definitely a laptop GM. It allows much more precise control of musical cues and other such things. Windows is pretty much required for work, so that's what I'm using.

The problem with using a web based tool is that a lot of people don't have internet access in the location that they play (at least the people I know who plays RPG's)

I really want to have access to wookiepedia when playing. Not very often, but sometimes, I want to check out some info that for some reason have to be 'right' (Im not generally that much of a stickler for canon). A laptop with mobile internet connection is the solution as we sometimes play far out in the middle of the forest (feels like it anyway).

Even on the rare occasion that I am using a computer that even has Windows on it, I'm running open source software on it.
