A quick question, what OS do you run on your computer? (more specifically the one you would use as aid when playing Star Wars). _________________ Visit My site to download the Star Wars d6 Tools: Its a work in progress |

Yeah, I'm definitely a laptop GM. It allows much more precise control of musical cues and other such things. Windows is pretty much required for work, so that's what I'm using. _________________ __________________________________

The problem with using a web based tool is that a lot of people don't have internet access in the location that they play (at least the people I know who plays RPG's) _________________ Visit My site to download the Star Wars d6 Tools: Its a work in progress |

I really want to have access to wookiepedia when playing. Not very often, but sometimes, I want to check out some info that for some reason have to be 'right' (Im not generally that much of a stickler for canon). A laptop with mobile internet connection is the solution as we sometimes play far out in the middle of the forest (feels like it anyway). _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

Even on the rare occasion that I am using a computer that even has Windows on it, I'm running open source software on it. _________________ Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid. |
