Can anyone point me to where it states the difficulty for installing replacement ship equipment or for installing new weapons etc?
I'm also after the length of time for these things to be carried out.

I've got the guide in 1st and 2nd edition but it doesn't give actual difficulty numbers for replacements.
However, in 1st edition it says it takes a number of repair rolls ranging from easy to very difficult and in 2nd edition it gives guidelines for replacing drives and generators (difficult for an identical unit) and individual drive descriptions give info on improving the roll to install them.
But I can't find any mention of base difficulties for replacing other systems, any ideas? |

Full unit replacements should probably be at a minimum a Moderate difficulty, IMO, likely higher. And that sort of work usually takes at least a couple hours.
