Are there special types of damage for when a person gets hit in a specific pert of their body? I don't mean like getting hit in the head, or the arm, I mean like getting your wrist slit, or getting kicked in the crotch. would getting poked in the eye make them blind for a turn? _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place

There's nothing like that in the official rules...
but depending on how much damage they do to a specific part of the body, I do have special effects... just none that are totally written out. I do that stuff on the fly. _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. My group uses "Specialized" hit sub-locations based on a D6. You roll to find the main location (Head, Torso, Limbs), then Roll to see WHERE it is vertically (Using the Torso for example, 1 would be crotch level, 6 could be neck), then horrizontally (1 being Left, 6 Being right, 3 being right in the centre.).
Torso, 1, 3 is our cheese shot. That nails a person right in the crotch, and gives a +1D to damage...
This comes up more often than one might think. |

jeebus... that's a lot of dice rolling to see where it hits... we use a D12 and that works pretty well... 1: head, 2: torso, 3: right upper arm, 4: left upper arm, 5: right lower arm, 6: left lower arm, 7: gut, 8:groin, 9:right upper leg, 10: left upper leg, 11: right lower leg, 12: left lower leg. _________________ "For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. lol! Everyone in my group just likes rolling really big amounts of dice.
If I remember correctly, getting in the head gives the person -1D to their STR right?
hows this?
Getting hit in the eye: If a player is hit in the eye with a physical blunt attack they are blinded for 2 turns, and they get -4D to all ranged attacks, -3D to all dodges for ranged attacks, and -2D to melee combat/parry. If the attack is with a sharp weapon, they are blinded permenantly, and are forced to get fake eyes, they can also get immidiate medical attention, and only be blinded for 1 month.
Getting hit in the groin: If a person is hit in the goin, the dice for damage are doubled, but it can only wound them, past that it just takes away from the persons dice to use skills and such _________________ 'God gave you grace to purge this place
