Does anyone know the location of Berchest? I can't find it on any of the star charts, and the books/Wookieepedia are nonspecific as well other than to say it's on or near a trade route. _________________ Arek | Kage |

I've got some pretty extensive galaxy maps with more star systems than I've ever heard of. I can't find your planet.
As much as I could quote an annoying line from E.II, I won't. |

I can, and I will!

Yeah, I've got two or three really good maps (one even has all of Tapani Sector mapped out, for example), but I still can't find Waldo/Berchest. Blast it all.
The reason I ask is partly to satisfy my own curiosity, but also because my players are on Berchest right now (intro adventure to my PbP campaign) and I don't have a clue where that is at this point. Oops... _________________ Arek | Kage |

Lost a planet Master Matthias has. How embarrassing... how embarrassing.
Actually, this grants you quite a bit of freedom. If there are no official sources as to the location, then you can't be wrong no matter which trade route you stick it on. It is unverifiable, and unfalsifiable information. Find which trade route is most convenient to your plot, and put it there.
Viola. You've found your planet. |

I suppose you're right, I just like having "official" info. That does help me as a GM, though. Thanks. _________________ Arek | Kage |

The one that Vong posted is the best of my maps. I zipped that and three other major maps here. _________________ Arek | Kage |

I found another decent one, for those of you interested. Still not seeing Berchest, of course. _________________ Arek | Kage |

Doing a little investigation on Wookieepedia, it's possible to roughly point the location of your lost planet. It's in the Anthos Sector, and we know that Svivren is in that sector as well, and we know where Svivren is! Thus we know where Anthos Sector is, and Berchest should be somewhere in that vicinity. Outer Rim, east of the Rimma Trade Route and Elrood Sector, somewhere halfway between Dagobah and Socorro, near Praesitlyn or Alzoc. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |
