Hey, I got a question for folks. What ages do you think the following would be? What I actually mean is about when do you think they probably first started showing up in the SW universe in relation to the Battle of Yavin.
Nyubba-Class Cargo Barge Driver
XS-800 Light Freighter
Ghtroc Industries Empress-class Super Freighter
Ghtroc Industries Class 720 Light Freighter _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

The Ghtroc 720 was supposed to be Ghtroc Industries' response to the YT-1300, and I seem to remember reading somewhere that the YT-1300 has been in service for "hundreds of years". Add that to the fact that Ghtroc was out of business long before the Rebellion era, and it would seem that you could safely assume that that particular ship design had been traveling the spacelanes since at least 200 BBY. The Empress was introduced sometime shortly after that, after which Ghtroc went bankrupt because no one would by the blasted thing. |

...and it became a favored long-range, converted carrier ship for all sorts of rebel scum... |

Again, Fluffy's a Runt, he only take a corner of it.
As for the age of the ships, well, it all depends on how well maintained and cared for they are.
A 500-year old, maintained and upgraded freighter will be "Younger" than a beat to Sithspit decade old freighter. |

Not what I meant by ages, Ray. I was looking for when ships of the aforementioned classes would have first hit the market. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

No, the entire thing. You guys are forgetting all his Fluffy For President campaign material he's got with him. Gotta be stored somewhere, and it takes up the extra three quarters of the space. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

Don't think they should include the family. Would be bad press, seeing as Fluffy was "Sold".
Indentured Service, not slavery. Fluffy worked it off, and is getting a good wage for being a "Biological Load Lifter and Anti-Theft Device", I think he has on his Resume. |
