Guide to the Force Sourcebook

I had a thought, and Gry and a few others apparently shared it.

The thought was thus: We know about Jedi and Sith. Some of us know about the Witches (and Nightsisters) of Dathomir. A few of us know about Fallanasi and Jensaari.

However, we (don't mind if I rope you into this, do you) were considering compiling information on the various traditions/sects/groups/whatever of Force Users.

I was thinking of the more "official" force users (Dathomiri, Jensaari, Tyia/Alien student of the Force, etc), and have been told about several fan based ones (from the Jedi Handbook)

So... if you've got information or questions about a particular Force User Type, drop it in here, or drop me a note, and I'll see what I can do about helping to put this together.

I think the main question is whether we expand the current project or begin another one.

My thought is to start a new project - for several reasons.

1 - Get the Force Powers book out.

2 - Give Cheshire a chance to take a break and enjoy the new child Smile

3 - Give those of us interested in putting the "Force Organization" source together a chance to cobble together information into one coherent (???) place.

4 - Give Cheshire and Gry a bit of a break from having to head up things (let's face it, they're the ones putting most of the effort into this, it seems)

5 - Once the Force Powers book is out, we can use it as a reference to point out discussions of various things in the "new" sourcebook.

Again, these are just my 2 centicreds worth of opinion. Anyone else got thoughts?

As I said before, this is a paralel project. Let's keep the Force Powers book as it was originally intended to be, and later on we can incorporate it into this new book, if it is successful.

I like the idea, Gry. It'll allow the new project to include all this research that's already been done, making it an even more complete volume.

That was my thought exactly Gry. I'm glad to hear we're sharing the same thoughts on this one.

BTW, the labor wasn't the real thing. She contracted like it was for real for about 24 hours and then the whole thing fizzled. She's frustrated beyond imagination.
