As you've probably noticed, the forums have been upgraded to the latest version of the software. I had to find a new theme for the look and feel as well, but nothing too drastic. Let me know if you encounter any problems with anything.

During the upgrade, I removed the separate folder for the PbP avatars and put all of the images into the detault Star Wars folder. If you were using one of them for your avatar, you'll need to go into your profile and re-select your avatar. Let me know if you have any problems.

Although I'm confused on the part with the avatars. Mine stayed the same through the move...

Oh... Upgrades!
I rebooted my computer and changed my fonts and everything (figured it was my computer). But the new look is cool, Blue's my favourite color.

FYI, I locked the other two threads about the upgrade and quoted the posts here so we can keep everything in one place.
I was hoping the upgrade would cut down on the spambots, but I had another one registered this morning. I'll have to look into some mods to help prevent those. I agree with the others who think the folder for new posts on the homepage should be a different color. I'll see what I can do. Only a handful of users were affected by the avatar move, so most of you don't have to worry about it. If you notice that your avatar is missing, just go into your profile and re-select it from the list.

I'm now using different folder images, so folders with new messages are now a different color. Let me know what you think.

I'm not complaining, but I just want to point something out with the new look: hidden white spoiler-text is now slightly visible with the new background color....

I like the new look, Loc. Gotta get used to it, but it does look pretty good.
That is a good point, however, about how some of us in the PBP forums are posting items in white to keep the characters' speech from being just outright read by characters that can't speak their language. Is that something you could possibly change by adding the background color to the font color palette? |
