More Questions:
Last night one of my players pointed out that it seems each weapon under it's entry is given a difficultly, after scowering the book, I havn't found an apparent use for that entry. The only clue I've found was the subnote on Light Saber that said if the base difficultly was missed by more than 10, you injure yourself.
Could you lend some insight into what that entry means, and also how that entry under lightsaber would apply, if at all, to that entry.

I believe only Melee weapons have a set difficulty, right? Ranged weapons' difficulty depend on range.
What the difficulty in melee weapons means is the difficulty neccessary to successfully hit a target if he doesn't melee parries. If the target uses a reaction skill, then that is the difficulty to hit, if he doesn't then the difficulty is the one listed under the weapon. If you don't achieve that value, you miss your strike.
With the lightsaber, what it means is that if you roll below 10 below the difficulty (thhe weapon's difficulty, not the target reaction), you injure yourself. If you just miss the difficulty but by less than 10, then you just miss your attack. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

That's exactly right. When we first started out, our resident Jedi was terrified of using his lightsaber for fear of blowing the roll and lopping off a limb. We got a lot of mileage out of that gag. _________________ Aha! |
