Update for Heroes of Stanax

Thought I would update what’s happening on our site. The Heroes of Stanax was our first game, so it's mentioned in the board title, but there are plenty of other games happening also.

In order of the games on the board:

The Captain’s Guild (Rebellion Era)
This game involves captains trying to find good crews for their ships. Joining the guild gives them access to the best cargo and some legitimacy. Two of our captains teamed up for a high paying cargo and were separated in hyperspace. One ship was taken aboard a Star Destroyer and nearly fell prey to an experimental killer droid. The other ship was double crossed and it’s crew left for dead. Now, the guild is involved in a crossover with another of our games, The Smoking Blaster. The two crew’s are trying to reunite with the Smoking Blaster crew stuck in the middle. (This game accepts Captains and ship crew as PC's, no droids or Jedi.)

Heroes of Stanax (New Republic)
Two separate groups are on missions. One group searches for the enigmatic Commandant in the heart of the enemies’ territory disguised as bounty hunters. They’ll stop at nothing to defeat the constant raids of Slavers on the planet of Stanax. The other group has gone to an exclusive casino on a volcano world to capture the head advisor to their mortal enemy. This man may be the key to discovering the location of missing slaves.

Knights of the Old Republic (4000 years before SW 1-6)
Battling a strange group of Sith shadow beings on a remote planet, one Jedi Knight has been seduced by a dark side amulet. Two other groups of Jedi seek to destroy the amulet and the strange shadow monsters in the Caves of Kael. (This is the game if you wish to play a Jedi.)

Blue Squadron (NJO)
The newly formed Blue Squadron seeks to take the fight back to the Yuuzhan Vong. After a pitched space battle with the Vong, they have boarded the remains of a Star Destroyer to investigate a strange infestation.

The Smoking Blaster (Rebellion Era)
After a lucrative cargo run, the captain of the Smoking Blaster has lost his ship in a card game. The new Captain immediately flew the Blaster to search for her business partners. Arriving on Aduba 3, the crew discovered a pitched battle occurring at the location of their partners’ last known whereabouts, but are unsure of which side to join.

Along with this update, let me throw in a hearty recommendation for this site. I'm personally in three games over there- Heroes of Stanax, Knights of the Old Republic, and Blue Squadron. So far it's been a lot of fun, and the KOTOR game is currently approaching a climax to the current adventure. Anyone interested should definitely pop over and put in an application to the game(s) of their choice!

BTW, I'm another admin over at the Heroes of Stanax site. Just wanted to let everyone know that we are starting up another scenario. This one deals with a group of Special Forces troopers stranded on an Imperial occupied planet with dwindling supplies. This scenario looks to have a lot of combat so if that kind of thing appeals to you, get in now!
