I know it's been a while since anyone posted here, so hopefully this draws some attention and interest.
This is a drawing of my first character on this site, in Jamfke's Rebel Uprisings game, Cal Jeth.

...and my last post here for now, Aron Bendarek, my first dark sider. He's an Emperor's Hand in the early days of the Empire; Palpatine brought him out of the Inquisitorius and brought him into direct personal service. He carries the twin green-bladed lightsabers to fool Jedi before cutting them down, and also has a double-bladed lightsaber with red blades for those times when he just doesn't care.
I took an image that Jamfke uses in one of the skins for his site, Roleplayers Direct, and used Gimp 2 to change the blades from red to green; all the other coloring was already there.

My current PC for the Sparks group, General Qualen Pennik, rebel special forces command, Infiltrator division.
This was Broc, a Voodoni ship security officer i had in a game ran in south england (south of London) for a while.
Both were drawn by the artists of the Starwars artist guild.
Practically every other picture i have had those nice folk do are of ships/vehicles. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Good stuff, garhkal.
The Star Wars Artist's Guild is an even better place to get great SW art from. I've collected somewhere in the neighboorhood of 400 pictures from various places (most of it from there), to have ready selections to pick from when I need character art. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Yes they are great. Of my statted ships and such they have drawn out quite a bit. I have had most ALL of my fighters (the delta dart, i wing, trilex, heptal, spectre) a few of my cap ships (the hischwirr colony ship and the Coral buster), and 2 of my 3 vehicles (the Ticker and the Mobile medical suite) drawn out by someone there.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Thought I'd finally share what I've got going on for my group
I GM a longstanding party that only recently started playing again, and it was such fun resurrecting old characters from years past that I worked up a character stat card for each person, complete with a new pic.
A little history, our group has historically always used actors to fill out our characters. It made our world feel a little more alive, and it added bits of personality that would be hard to convey otherwise. Since our group was formed over 15 years ago, it also makes sense that the actors chosen were big names then, and are now past their prime - letting my group roleplay a bunch of grizzled, jaded veterans is a lot of fun. Especially now that we have a newcomer (in terms of player, character, and actor) who has no idea what he's in for .
Anyway, you can definitely see that this was a mid-90s RP group.
...and the newcomer (details pending):

Yeah, those are exceptionally cool!!! 8)
How did you get the mix of art and Star Warsy outfits?
Are all of your PCs humans? No aliens at all? _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

Thanks! I'm a digital artist by trade, so I took some photos and painted over them.
And as far as the races... is that weird? In our 15-year campaign, I don't think any of us have ever played a non-human (or even a non-actor) in more than a one-shot, ever. I guess... show of hands, who plays an alien? |

I'm not a player right now (since I GM), but when I played D6 I've only played aliens. I find it much more interesting, as I can play humans in most other games (especially modern ones).
In our Star Trek game, too, I've played a Vulcan and have been working on my new character, an Andorian.
In my D6 game, we've got mostly humans. Four of the seven are actually aliens, but two of those (a Miraluka and Clawdite) at least appear human (most of the time). _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |

I mostly play humans; however, I've also played several Anomids and one Trandoshan. Anomids are GREAT for playing slicer characters, since they get bonus dice at creation. Those dice are only supposed to be used for Tech skills; you CAN use them for other skills, but then it's double the cost. |
