Both are possible, with "Archaic" being "Like Outdated, only more so".

Sure. Just increase the Difficulty to install, then apply the results to the appropriate Mishap tables in GG6.

I imagine this could work well with the Scavenger sourcebook, Salvage rp stories or potentially Flight of the Phoniex type scenarios.
