Awesome job Gry! I really appreciate all of your hard work to make these conversion guides happen. _________________ __________________________________

It would seem you guys are clearing the backlog a little in anticipation of the forthcoming Legacy Campaign Guide.
I have a question about Force blast and Repulse. I agree that using Force blast against a sentient being gives the character a DSP. But if my character uses this to clear debris from my path, does that give my character a DSP? And if my character were to use Repulse to knock back the sentients that surround me, and only just knock them back, does that give my character a DSP? |

I would say no. That was my intention when I made it, but it looks like the final draft uses the original WEG DSP verbiage.
But it will come down to you as the GM with what you allow and what you don't.
Also, I've got a permanent link in my shared documents in the link below. _________________ __________________________________

I noticed the stats for the R-41 Starchaser in this sourcebook are slightly different than those in the Starship Stats R&E Sourcebook. I guess the TFU stats are the more up-to-date stats, coming from WotC conversions? |

That's a good question. The one in Gry's R&E doesn't have a source listed. It might have been one of those fan-created stat blocks. Generally I consider the ones to have a source as most accurate. If more than one source is indicated, then defer to the earliest incarnation.
However, I would say it's a safe bet to use the FU CG stat block. _________________ __________________________________

I agree with you cheshire. When it comes to d6 stats, I always take them in this heirarchy:
Official stats from a WEG publication > Converted stats from WOTC publication > fan-made stats |

Yeah, that's pretty much it. With these new Saga books, several stats that were previously only fan-made are being updated with conversions. If a stat block doesn't have a Source listed then it is almost certainly fan-made (the stats, not the item). _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

That makes sense - it's actually impressive (most impressive) how close many of the stats were between the two sources. Well done, Gry. |

Yeah, he's good. I'm finding out what it's like to try to fill his shoes on the Legacy conversion guide.
I have blisters. _________________ __________________________________

Why is the difficulties on the Guard Shoto Lightsaber
Model: Lightsaber Tonfa
Type: Melee
weapon
Scale: Character
Skill: Lightsaber
Cost: 7,000
Availability: 4, X
Difficulty: Moderate
Damage: 4D
Game Notes: A character with the appropriate skill specialization gains a +5 bonus to all parry rolls made when wielding the shoto by its secondary handle. However, his attacks also suffer a -3 penalty unless the shoto is wielded by the primary handle. If an attacking character misses the difficulty number by more than 10 points (the base difficulty; not their opponent’s parry total), the character has injured himself with the lightsaber.
Moderate instead of Difficult like the rest of the Lightsabers |

Because it is shorter, and thus less unwieldy. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

hmm just reading some of the entries about them made it seem like they would be just as hard to use
So the Short Shoto Light Saber is moderate to use also? Like the one Sora Bulq used |
