Supposedly something like art director for an advertisement softwares company. I'm not really all too sure what it entails exactly, but it looks good. I'm starting an an intern, but wish me luck.
This first semester is going to be crazy, juggling this new job, university and animation night-course. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Sounds great, Gry! Good luck with that.
It would appear that your new job falls right in line with your graphic skills! If you're lucky, you can combine your job with your production of sourcebooks... |

Yeah, right...... I'll check with my bosses if they are interested in migrating to the "pirate fan-made sourcebook for a deceased system" business. Somehow I don't think they'll be overly excited.... _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

Congrats on the new job! Well-deserved: your cover art is really great.
This starship resource is outstanding. A real life-saver... all your books are revolutionizing my GM work, since I need ONE book instead of 5 for ships, aliens, etc. etc.
One question: Is there any chance you will include airspeeders/atmospheric craft in this or the equipment book? If you have and I haven't noticed, sorry for being dumb.
Boa Sorte at your new job!

All airspeeders and such are in the Vehicles Stats book. Thanks for the compliments, I'm glad I've made your GMing life easier! I hope Grimace sends me the remaining stats soon so I can finish Starships Stats R&E, I can't wait to get it done.
Obrigado. I start the job this wednesday. Kinda scared. _________________ "He's Gry Sarth, of course he has the stats for them." |

I don't see why not... Since Graphic Design goes hand-in-hand with sales, you surely could sell them on the idea, no?
Just point to all they business you've generated here! |

Yeah, but then Gry would have to start charging us for the books. _________________ "I take orders from just one person: Me!"

Yeah, but see, there's ways around that. Many of us have contributed at least something to the effort (ok, for some of us it's just ongoing praise and encouragement, but someone's gotta do it.) That gets us mention in the credits, and as such, royalties...
Which could ALWAYS be negotiated to include a free copy or two per contributor... |

There is a greater danger than our having to pay for what Gry does. And our having to pay would not really be a danger. But Gry could get into a lot of trouble from Lucasfilm if he started charging for this material. _________________ FLUFFY for President!!!!

Exactly. (Which is why I was only kidding about royalties and such.) Royalties is the word for the day, kiddies. Someone with a copyright for original material is forever entitled to at least a piece of the pie. It's why every time a remake of an old song is played on the radio, some old geezer (or their estate) is getting a check in the mail for two or three cents. They still have a piece of ownership, even if someone else bought the rights and remade their work. Lucas will ALWAYS have ownership of anything Star Wars, and rightly so. If any of us started suddenly making money off his baby, BELIEVE ME, he'd find out about it.
It's better that we continue sharing as we have, and keep having wonderful people like Gry putting their efforts forth to produce such great material. |

Yea, one of the things that Lucas got out of the Star Wars deal was all of the mechandising (I spelled that wrong) rights. So anything and everything Star Wars related is okayed through him. So, Mr. Lucas would take none to kindly as too someone making money off his creation.
Also Gry, you've done some amazing work in the SWD6 community. I jsut want to say thanks for everything that you've contributed to the game. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the book. |
