We dont use character points that way, but it works in a similar way. Think tapping into the DS to gain those CPs and youre on the right path. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

I'm just thinking of it from a perspective that the rule would be a lot simpler and easier to understand if it was applied as a new facet to an existing RAW, and since CP's have an effect similar or equal to that 1D bonus this rule gives, it might be easier to word it as such. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Yeah, it might. But as we dont use CPs as extra dice the reference would be lost. It would just confuse why you could use Dark Character Points (or whatever you would call them) and not regular ones that way. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

I was thinking more as a general rule, for those who use CPs to gain extra dice, as per the RAW. If you don't use CPs like that, then it wouldn't work for you. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. IMO, the points do need to have a name, though. Shadow Points. Risk Points. Something that sticks in the mind and reminds you of their purpose. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. I don't know... I don't see it as channeling the dark side on purpose. It's more of fueling the force with your emotions. It could be fear, passion, hate or whatever gets you going in the right (wrong?) situation. But since we all know these feelings lead to the dark side, that's why you get you Dark Side Pip.
EMO dice maybe? _________________ Random is who random does... |

Think normal pips. Three pips to a die. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

Interesting. Do those DSP pips matter for anything? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

If you use my Will of the Dark Side rules, a DSP pip is also an extra pip to resist with your Control/Willpower when the Dark Side tries to dictate your actions. _________________ My Biggest Beard Retard award goes to: The Admiral of course.. |

Does the Light Side of the Force also have a will and attempt to dictate player/NPC actions? _________________ Don't waste money on expensive binoculars.
