We'll see when they get off this rock... they'll have some leave to do whatever, and then I'll start thinking about the next planet... but they're probably going to be here for a while...

Maybe they might want to try other characters or maybe not. You could have the group shuffled around, new faces and new places. It sounds as if SNiPE really likes his sniper. Maybe he is transfered to a new unit. Maybe the terrain changes and wilderness fighters or pathfinders are required.
