Even if he never wrote for WEG, I'd love to hear what he has to say on a podcast. I mean, with the way things are now if you only did shows where you had official WEG authors getting interviewed, you'd have a really short run. If there's any notable D6 person who will talk with you, then I think that would be worthwhile. _________________ __________________________________

Yeah... so I'm kinda guessing this patient died on the table. Kind of a shame. _________________ __________________________________

Yeah, I'd love to see it happen, but the original poster hasn't been around for over a year. I've heard a few people say that they'd love to hear something like this. If there winds up being any momentum on the idea, keep me in the loop. _________________ __________________________________

well there is a Star wars d6 podcast now! I stumbled upon the starwars D6 Google+ page and they put out their first podcast called Shooting Womprats.
Its pretty short and definitely needs a lot of polish but i'm going to hold off any judgement until they have a few more casts under their belt.
Check it out here. scroll down to find the pod cast.

They've got a new website now.

It looks like they've got a lot of potential as they grow. I'm interested to see where the show goes. It sounds like they've taken some recognition of the fan books this community has made, particularly the compilations by Gry Sarth.
I'm looking forward to see where they go with this. _________________ __________________________________

I listened to part of their first podcast (Episode 0), and while they are still getting their "sea-legs" so to speak, there does seem to be a lot of potential. And perhaps most importantly to the Rancor Pit community, they are looking for FEEDBACK. I think we should all take advantage of this. Let them know what you liked, and what you didn't, and what types of information and topics you'd like to see covered. This could grow into something big. |

Since this thread was really about an interest check for a podcast, and now we have an ACTUAL podcast, I thought I'd make a new thread for Shooting Womp Rats. Maybe we can use the forum to banter about the show and come up with suggestions for future episodes.
Here's a link to the thread:
