No, I was thinking you Esoomian, and Orgaloth were all in that part of the world for what ever reason. So much for my paying attention.

Anyway despite the warnings it doesn't look like Sandy did much to this area of the state. I know there were reports of poweroutages around the county, but none where I live the last I knew. So it looks like for me Sandy was a fizzle. Prefer that to loosing power. Got plenty of flashlights, lanterns, candles and batteries so light wouldn't be a problem. And laptop PSP and portable DVD players charged so that would give a few hours entertainment there after which it'd be books (and I've got a ton to read) if the power remained out for long. Plus have a gas stove so no worries about being able to cook. The big worry would be heat, can put pots on the stove full of water to provide heat for a while, but it's really the furnace that heats the house so if the power goes out there's nothing to turn it over to heat the water in the tank. And no fireplace if it goes out.

Had about thirteen or fourteen myself. That's about average here, most folks don't wan't to try the hill especially as there's so fe houses on it. Thankfully no rain last night.
