Modelling notes:
Basically, several differently scaled WW2 model kit-bashed together! I know it makes little sense to have even an armoured plasti-glass cockpit, but I see that as an observation post, and assume no-one would occupy it in a serious combat situation!
Campaign Background
This vehicle often acts as an escort for desert convoys. For example, it might be found escorting the Large Utility Crawler (No. 4 above).

Modelling Notes:
Basically, built from plasticard, with a few ‘bits box’ pieces. The models illustrated have been damaged in long storage (I wonder what was originally attached where the paint is missing?)
Campaign Background:
From Myedrolar (aka Gohlag 6), being the same world the Maze Skimmer (above) is found. These are used in the same Maze warfare environment, able to ride along the channel depths and (with piloting skill) leap across the top of a crevice from side to side to navigate the surface level too.

Modelling Notes:
Basically some fiddly bits attached to half a tyre from a model kit.
Campaign Background:
These appeared quite often in my campaign. I like the idea of Imperial army soldiers or stormtroopers piloting these simple repulsorcraft whilst standing (although harnessed for safety), almost like riding an animal-mount. Light cavalry! I imagine them zooming along low like Luke’s speeder, with the look of a hovercraft! These are used for scouting, outriding, searching for fugitives, patrolling wide areas, etc.

That Heavy Armoured Escort Crawler is all kinds of awesome, I think the glass canopy is what makes it look more like a Star Wars vehicle.
The Repulsorlift War Sleds look like they would fit in zooming around in Rogue One, Solo or the Mandalorian with that hot-rod kind of style.
Definitely going to have to find a place for these in my own game.
I can't tell you how much I love those Speeder Scout Discs killer theme-park rides. I seriously want one in real life.

Modelling Notes:
This is just bits of kits stuck together. Basically, I used to go through my box of bits of plastic model kits, lifting out bigger pieces and thinking “What could this be in my Star War’s Campaign?” Then I would find little pieces to turn it into a craft of some sort. (Just thought … I wonder if I can find the ‘war’ droids I made?! Boy, they were fiddly little things to make in 15mm scale!)
Campaign Background:
Another, larger Myedrolarian war sled, used to carry a whole pack of Rourrh warriors.

It is kinda obvious that I got lazy or perhaps I just needed something new for a game that was happening soon, because yes, they're helicopters, but with weird landing rings, added wings and no blades! Yet ... I liked them. I think I had so much of an eager imagination I just stopped seeing the copter. I originally called them repuslorcopters, but that was just rubbing it in! I think I borrowed them from my 'post-apocalypse' home-brew setting, filled with WW2 vehicles turned into Mad Max type machines!

[17.] Surface Mining Utility Craft
Modelling Notes:
This is made from the rear-part of a wheeled sci-fi truck model and a sci-fi ‘fighting robot’ arm. A pretty simple job!
Campaign Notes:
This vehicle is used for wilderness surface mining, usually for valuable gemstones. It’s robotic limb houses a very close-range sonic blaster that shatters rocks, allowing the toughened durasteel claws then to drag out the debris. The blast can be focused on a spot between 1 and 10m from the muzzle, but not closer or further away. Usually an accompanying team of droids then search through the rubble for the gems, although often labouring sentients are utilised for this role. The defensive weapon turret is more often than not present, due to the precious nature of the cargo this vehicle tends to carry after its mining operations.

I like the helicopter thingies, they do look a little Avatar, but I think they'd still fit in the star wars universe. We had wookiee insect-winged vehicles after all.
The Surface Mining Utility Craft looks like a little space camper van. awesome
I really like the forearm section of that robot arm too, looks heavy duty |

Almost wholly like the WW2 model was supposed to be, but with a big sensor array added (hopefully Star Wars-like) to the rear. Another pretty simple job!
Campaign Notes:
The Imperial army use these as mobile HQ’s in armoured military operations. They don’t need to be fast or manoeuvrable, as they tend to operate behind the front line, but they do need to be tough!

Basically, a cheap, plastic toy, painted. It looked like it would do as a Star Wars vehicle, so I bought several from the £1 shop!

The Imperial Mobile Ground Command Base reminds me quite a lot of those pencil stetch concept art of Star Wars tanks. So it definitely looks Star Wars to me
The AT GT is probably my favourite model so far, an awesome mix of Battle Tech and the setting art in the back of the original 40K Rogue Trader book. Awesome
The Combat Air Speeder reminds me so much of a Zoid head that I can't not like it it also gives me vibes of those Star Trek Reman fighters from the Nemesis film.
