Exactly. Some of the characters in our Sparks group routinely wander around with 10K+ in modifications to their suits of armor, and DO engineer in traps to prevent their theft. So i can easily see Mando warriors doing the same.

And not only would trapping armor in this fashion be to protect the monetary value of the investment, it'd also be, at least from the point of a Mando, it'd be to protect a cultural icon, a veritable secret that is part of the mystique of the Mandalorians. They'd want to keep it out of the hands of outsiders. |
