Maybe we could use the Force to poke there brains and give them temporary memory loss so they walk away. _________________ Rebel Uprisings

I don't know about that one; don't know if either of us are skilled enough. I think we ought to try for something simpler, yet more creative. That way we might earn some good graces from Jamfke and possibly save our Jedi butts... 8) |

it might be risky but we might be able to use your Affect Mind and my Disguise to pull something off. _________________ Rebel Uprisings

Plus that might be DSP worthy, harming their minds to wipe memory.
And what force powers do you have anyway> With that list we can figure out what to do... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

FORCE POWERS:
CONTROL: Absorb/Dissipate Energy, Accelerate Healing, Concentration, Control Pain, Detoxify Poison, Enhance Attribute
SENSE: Combat Sense, Danger Sense, Life Detection, Life Sense, Magnify Senses
ALTER: Telekinesis
C&S: Lightsaber Combat
C&A: Affect Mind
Until I go from here and read the latests posts, my character and the other Jedi are poised to, once we jimmy the door open, use TK to relieve the first troopers we see of their blasters. Beyond that, I'm figuring on doing the same to the next trooper as well, handing the weapons off as I get them. Once that trick no longer works, it's gonna be down to either melee or blaster combat. |

What is your D skill in the powers?
Another possibility is to use TK to force one trooper to shoot another.. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

How about ejecting the blaster gas containers from the blasters, if you have some skill in blaster repair? That should be possible and while most people carry around spare power packs, spare blaster gas is kind of hard to find... |

That's not a bad idea. Or, perhaps we could even ignite the blaster gas while it's still in their weapons, which would CERTAINLY cause them some degree of confusion, if not injuries besides.
However, the only problem with that is that we want to lay hands on their weapons once we're free of the storage room. They nailed all our weapons, and even got my datapad, which sucks, since my character is also a slicer... |

Igniting the blaster gas would be using the force for attack in my book. Just like yanking blasters out of hands, if you cause them so much as a sprained finger.
If you however should manage to squeeze the barrels together and the gun explodes while shooting, they would have set it off themselves by taking a violent action.
There are so many ways in which you can use the force defensively. Think like a pacifist would when using the force. In your case ejecting the blaster gas containers or power packs and levitating them to you would be the most efficient thing to do. They will not be able to use their guns anymore but you will, as soon as you re-insert them. You might also be able to mess with their heads and a little "affect mind", akin to what Gandalf did with the trolls in The Little Hobbit. They might start to fight among themself. |

That's assuming he has sufficient d in con/sen/alt, and the stormies are box standard versions. If they are veterans or higher, and trained to protect captured jedi, then they will most likely have higher perception, or even willpower to resist the Aff mind... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Yeah, Bandon and Cal are both lower level Padawans, so I kinda doubt we'd be able to pull off the Affect Mind bit in addition to lifting their gas canisters.
Plus, if their weapons are holstered, then we'd probably have to lift the rifle out of the holster a little bit in order to reach the gas container... |
