Quote: | The remote would be a fan creation, and the recall circuit would remove the requirement for the advanced slave circuitry, as it's pretty obvious that the Lady Luck never had such advanced equipment on board.
What do you think?
|
Have you looked at the CD-12A autopilot droid brain (pg.18 Galladiniums Fantastic Technology).
It does nothing more then the beckon call did with Lando's ship.
The droid brain just flew the ship to the person with the remote, nothing more.
That would be the bare bones for slave circuitry, just get a more advanced brain and it could fully control the ship.
Slave circuitry is said to be controlled by a mechanical brain.
I would just list the CD-12A as a "slave circuitry" device and just make more advanced ones to what you think is right.
The ship would still technically need skill stats not just fluff that says it can fly by itself. |

Since the droid brain is so much more expensive than the slave circuitry, I felt like I had to really town down its stats. I've inserted the following into the stat block:
Quote: |
The slave circuit operates with the following stats:
DEXTERITY 0D
KNOWLEDGE 0D
MECHANICAL 1D
(with one of the following skills:) space transports 1D+2, starfighter piloting 1D+2
PERCEPTION 1D
STRENGTH 0D
TECHNICAL 0D

Oh, I'm done. I've been done for a few days. I'm just making sure that we've got no more concluding remarks, and then I'll be be sending it off to Gry. Of course we're converting another book right now so I don't know what sort of schedule we're all on.
Well... I know what kind of schedule I'M on, and I've pulled two 12+ hour days in a row, so there's not a LOT of converting going on. But I have tomorrow pretty free. That's when I think we'll have some fun things to do then. _________________ __________________________________

Terribly sorry about the delay, this one had completely slipped my mind. Well, at long last, here's the new edition, with Cheshire's new equipment and weapons:

No need to apologize. I've not received any complaints. Though if I did get any, I'd be happy to give the person a total refund.

I see some typos in the new release.
For the Nebula-class Star Destroyer, you have the Starships of the Galaxy Saga Edition listed twice. The one referring to page 93 is for the first version - the RCRB one.
The Modular core - Capital sip? You meant Capital ship. |

Thanks for pointing out the typos. I'll drop a copy of this in the typo thread.
You have been refunded 10 internets. _________________ __________________________________

D6 Concersion (revised) questiona:
1) Under external cargo pods, the light and heavy mention that they reduce maneuverability by -2. The medium pod says by -1D+1.
Is this supposed to be a 2 pip redcution for all pods?
2) Wouldn't make more sense if the penalty to maneuverability increased with the mass of the pod (all that mass altering the balance and thrust/mass ratio)? Something like -1/-2/-3? |

I'll have to look at it. I think that might have been one of those things I might have intended to delete. It's been months since I've done this project, so I'll have to review it. _________________ __________________________________
