Anway;

I have always looked at "Sith" referring to a proper noun title, confirming specific implications regarding knowledge and capability.

There are tons of darksiders, hands, adepts, priests, apprentices etc.
All those folks are not very nice people, and give in to anger, hostility etc.
They also might get some combat and force training from more experienced bad guys.

But only a two (well, if you want to say they follow it) are Sith.

They have some knowledge or secrets which makes them more powerful (insert fluffy rationalization here).

Whether it is force lightning, soul transference or just the keys to the cool bathroom in the temple, there is something else.
(or deeper knowledge that allows them to cloud the force, or be more powerful etc.) whatever....

Yeah, it is a flimsy justification on my part - but it can't be worse than coming up with the entire maw cluster to justify parsec....




Use what ever works for your game and personal head cannon.
