But if we're looking for a rule that covers why Finn was having difficulty shooting at the TIEs due to Rey's maneuvering, it would be the other way around. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Which completely ignores the fact that he had JUST shown he had a talent for starship gunnery in the back of a TIE being flown by Poe Dameron. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. To be fair, Finn may have had more trouble with the TIE Fighters than with the Finalizer's missiles because the missiles, being homing missiles, just bored straight in at Finn and Poe. (The reason Finn and Poe got shot down was because Talking is a Free Action got subverted as Finn was distracted by arguing with Poe about returning to Jakku.) The TIE Fighters chasing the Falcon, however, were being driven by pilots who would have actively been dodging Finn's turret blasts. So it makes sense that Finn wouldn't have shot down the TIEs right off the bat, and in the end, he did manage to shoot them down. Rey even praises his gunnery skills once they're away from Jakku. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies

Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |

They had a GM who was tired of the OOC arguing, so gave them a nudge. _________________ RR
