Thanks. The module is known as the Hunter's Hunted. It featured a race i wrote up that is very much like the predators in way of doing things, and most everyone who played in that module LOVED it..

Thanks. The common thought for Sparks (which i have adapted) is ONE of Cut scenes/interludes and Force visions will have something to do with that module, whether setting up a later scene, showing the baddies etc. The other can be to showcase something else from either another module OR something from general SW lore.. Like in one of my modules where the PCs are part n parcel of a will reading, the force vision goes into the back story on Mara Jade (showing her as a young kid being grabbed by imperial troopers from an orphanage)..

I've had a few cut scenes where the players got too meta (and I was new at GM so I gave too many tidbits) so the next time I pulled a Zsinj on them. The scene itself was totally faked. The cut scene was of the big bad getting stupidly drunk after every successful pirate raid. So after their brand new (slightly borrowed) Action V freighter was boarded and they had to escape on their recon ship they snuck into the Pirates base (a cantina on a outrim world). They waited until he went to his quarters then snuck up the balcony for revenge just to find out he was sober as a preacher and spend hours knocking down nonalcoholic and changing his mannerisms to see how his crew acts when they think his guard was down. My two metas were in the front row and both were stunned while the other three managed to make it out the window (taking 4 or 5 D falling damage). At the time Sin City was out so the Malevolent Malachi had his surgeon droid cut off their dominate arms for having a 'hand' in this assassination attempt. The one guy didn't know to leave well enough alone and spit in Malachi's face when he made him shake hands with his arm to say good bye and he lost his eyes for good measure. All of which were fed to his brothers pet Katarn. The rest of the group picked them up off the streets when the pirates left and they spend a nice adventure tracking down funds to get replacement limbs which turned into one of the best free wheeling adventures I've ever run. One of them may or may not have gotten a darkside point for using a force point while wearing a dress rolling to roll one heck of a con to convince a Gamorrian pit fighter that he was a female and they should get married to get access to his thousands of credits.

and in the end they never ever fully trusted my cut scenes ever again Very Happy

Awesome use of cut scenes, ExImperialInqyisitor. Way to turn the tables on your meta abusing players! Smile
