Interesting that you should ask. This was all started by that same player (of the noble) coming to me and reminding me that he'd wanted to play a Jedi from the start.
But I'd been hesitant to have two Jedis, so I talked him into waiting a bit. But it's been well over a year now, not to mention that player is battling his second bout with cancer, so I agreed that we shouldn't wait any longer (he was spurred to this even more when another PC - a Miralukan information broker - found the parts for a lightsaber and went to our Jedi, asking to be trained (he was politely declined).
So he will be playing a Jedi, though just a padawan. The rest of my group doesn't know it, but he's actually the daughter of our current Jedi. You can read all about it over on my "Death of Liberty" thread.
We upped my Jedi awhile back (to make him a true Jedi Knight), but this padawan will not be that powerful, which allows the character the chance to grow significantly. _________________ Currently Running: Villains & Vigilantes (a 32-year-old campaign with multiple groups) and D6 Star Wars; mostly on hiatus are Adventures in Middle-earth and Delta Green |
