On a linked question. Does the alter rating of a jedi/dark jedi get modified by their MAPS, for purposes of damage??
IE jannus jedi is using force pimp slap (8)   ) on someone. THe power says his alter skill is the damage at the rate of 1d per 2d in alter (lets say). His alter is 6d+2. So since he is using a 2 skill power would that go down to 5d+2 for the damage side, or stay at 6d+2? What about if he is on a FP/DSP??

I would say no, only for the skill use itself.
