I'm pretty much okay with that. I was a big fan of the X-Wing games, and to have hard stats for those things is a win for us video game fans.

Oh yeah, I'm not complaining. I actually think a "Video Games Catch-Up Sourcebook" would be a GREAT idea.

In fact I can trace the beginnings of my stats-creating career to X-Wing Alliance. I was so fascinated with the multitude of cool new ships contained in the game that I just had to bring them into my RPG. I remember sitting with my buddy in line for the Ep1 premiere with a binder-full of ships characteristics compiled from the game, comparing them to existing ships and creating D6 stats for them.

I just finished going through it. I can say that it's packed with info despite it's small size. They might have been able to bulk it up a little with a few more ship stats and NPC's from the comics. Definitely the clonetrooper Able for the latter.

The following already have d6 stats, either from WEG or converted from WOTC OCRB/RCRB: FX-7 Medical droid, R4-series Agromech droid, WED Treadwell Repair Droid, LOM-series Protocol Droid, BT-16 Perimeter Security Droid, RHTC-560 Hunter-Trainer, RHTC-560 HT Drone, Bantha-II Cargo Skiff, Storm IV Twin-Pod Cloud Car, Talon I Combat Cloud Car, 9000 Z004 Landspeeder, ULAV, Mekuun Heavy Tracker, Darktrooper droids, Assault Gunboat, TIE Crawler "Century Tank", TIE shuttle, IRD and IRD-A fighters, and Cracian Thumper

As for the Kilian Ranger Talent tree, there's nothing new there. They've already been covered as Force weapon and shield gauntlet defense.

I just skimmed through it in the book shop today, and it does seem to contain more items than what's in that list posted earlier. Unless some of the ships shown in pictures in the book don't actually have stats for them... I saw things like the Dauntless cruiser, Planetary Fighter and other interesting stuff like that...

The list I compiled was based off of a table of contents that someone had posted in another forum. It is very likely that either he or I (or both) made transcription errors.

If you want to send me a list of what I've done wrong, I'll amend the previously posted list.

Okay... let's do this thing!

Quote:

Energy Lance

Agh, you're already on this. Man, I want a copy of this book....

No need to ammend that list, I was just pointing out that there might be more new items than expected.

Optional Rules: Cracken’s Tactics
The following rules can be used to disable or modify equipment that characters encounter in their campaigns. The Rebellion Era Campaign Guide included a number of options for jury rigging and sabotage. The jury rigging options are already covered in Galladinum’s Fantastic Technology, pages 3-5, and thus will not be converted here. The sabotage options are converted below:

Disabling a Shield Generator
Method: The shield generator must be temporarily shut down during the installation (for which the agent my provide a cover story for the down time). A LK-4 fusible link must be installed in one of the main power couplings. If done successfully, the shield will shut down as soon as it reaches 50% power output. Alternatively, the system can be shut down via a length of power cable with a vampiric power tap. The tap is installed on one of the power cable, and then attached to the main power supply, while the other end is affixed to the negative power coupling. The tap can be remote activated. When it is activated it will either burn out the coupling or create a surge in the power system, causing it to shut down.
Required Items: LK-4 fusible link; or 3-meter cable, vampiric power tap, and basic tools.
Installation Time: 5 minutes.
Skill: battle station repapr, capital ship repair, space transport repair, or planetary shield repair.
Result: With the fusible link, the generator shuts down once it reaches 50% power, and cannot be used again until the link is removed. With the power tap, the generator requires extensive repairs taking two hours and a Difficult repair roll of an appropriate related skill.

My conversions are going to be a bit slow for a little while. I've got an RL writing project before I hit my class deadline.

Don't sweat it, Chesh. Things are moving along on my end. Already did all the vehicles and starships, I think the only thing still missing are the droids and any remaining Cracken's tactics.
