I remember you telling me a while back that you were considering moving here. I'm on the opposite end of town. I grew up in Delaware (in the county directly north of Franklin County). I've only lived in Columbus for 6 years (NW side) and never go to your side of town, so I really don't know your side of town very well.
The gaming group I was most recently a part of that played Star Wars D6 all got tired of it (I was only a player and not GM) so the group disbanded and everyone went their separate ways to play different games in different groups, except me who is not playing any game in any group right now.
I don't personally know anyone in the area that's playing WEG Star Wars right now, but I've heard there are some guys playing the FFG Beta.
These are the two FLGSs I usually go to:

Whill and garhkal gaming in the same city? That would almost be worth the 2500 mile move from California. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. lol. Actually, a few years ago at Origins, garhkal and I both played WEG Star Wars in the same room at the same time (but not the same adventures), and we didn't meet each other or know about it until later. I missed Origins this year, but I won't next year (June 12-16, 2013). If not sooner, I'll for sure meet garhkal then. But I doubt I will be playing any WEG Star Wars there.
Hey, you should all come to Columbus next June for Origins Game Fair! That's be far out!

Sure. Ravenstone is closer to you, but it's tiny (It does have one very small game room). Guardtower is bigger, it always has mutliple games going on and its always busy, but it is on the west side. After you've found the stores on your end of town, you may want to make a pilgrimage to Guardtower sometime for comparison. If you find one better, let me know because I may want to make a pilgramage there to check it out sometime. Like I said, I really don't know your side of town very well.
If you have any questions about what's good and bad, where things are, traffic patterns, or whatever, please let me know and I'll to help the best I can. If you're on Facebook, PM me your username. _________________ *

What's really funny is, just last night we figured out that garhkal and I actually did both play in one Star Wars adventure together without knowing it at Origins six years ago! I guess the Rancor Pit just never came up at the game table. My memories of the adventure are vague now, but from what I remember, garhkal was a natural leader of the player group, and very tactical-minded.
Even though my avatar is Palpatine, why do I feel like Anakin in Palpatine's office when Anakin has a revelation. "You're the Sith Lord!"

When do you see yourself showing up? I would be willing to toss one back with ya during the 6-7pm break any of the days, or late wed evening. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

I'll be in sometime Wednesday, so Wed night would be great. I'm sure we were in the same room for the sparks games last year, but I look forward to actually meeting you. _________________ "Yes because killing the guy you always planned on usurping and killing anyways in order to save your own kid, totally atones for murdering a roomful of innocent trusting children."
