ADSL in South africa is not broadband yet, but we are getting there.

probably a good call. thats what i use at home all the time, but cannot install it at work, so i use the applet at work, and have not had much of a problem yet.

For those of you that are new or just forgot, I wanted to give this a bump. Come join us and hang out...the easiest way if you don't use IRC much (like me) is to use the web interface:
http://holonet.org/
Just put #Rancorpit as the channel and log in---simple as that. 8)

Tried it several times... always empty. Went in today and Karae was there but he/she didn't say much...

yea, im there usually  but usually more in the morning. just keep coming on, and idle in there and you might meet us. its been rather quiet recently

Yeah, I USED to be on there all the time...even working 3rd shift there used to be people on usually...
...but then my job assignment changed, so I'm not around the computer as much.
HOPEFULLY I'll get yet ANOTHER change, which will put me on DAYS!!! That one will let me be on a bit more, I believe...  |

Just giving this a little bump. We were rolling for a while with several people regularly in to chat, but as of late it's just been Vong and I. Pop in for a chat (say hello, and be patient, we may be looking elsewhere)!!

Only suggestion is to hang out for a while when you join. We're not always paying immediate attention to the channel unless we're talking about something. Might take a few minutes to notice if someone's joined
Of course, the more people that join, the more likely it will be that someone will be available when people join
