I'm in contact with Admiral Ellefson of the RRA. The database is still there and the site might be continued. As far as I know it's mainly a time issue.
I'll keep you updated!

More good news: The RRA will be repaired pretty soon and strike from a new hidden base. It still recruits Admirals to review submissions, so if you have a the time to take care of a topic (starships, vehicles, aliens,...) just drop me a line. The site will be completely rebuilt, but it will soon be back for good.

Again: If anybody could imagine to invest maybe 1D6 hours/week to review some fan submissions, it would be cool if you wrote Admiral Ellefson of the RRA a mail with the topic "Save the RRA" >>> this is important, SPAM filter!!!. The more people, the less work and the faster the site and it's huge database will be back online. No programming skills are necessary.

Good news! The RRA was able to locate a terrestrial planet with good weather conditions not too far away from the tradelanes and began to rebuild a hidden base with stronger shields. Drop in for a comment and it won't be long until the submissions are back.

Another convoy with good news: The base has been completely rebuilt. The site has hand-picked fan creations as well as long-lost official WEG stuff. I hope you enjoy it. Admiral Ellefson put a lot of work into that, so please be nice and leave a comment!

Man, I'd actually forgotten how much stuff I'd contributed. Hearing about everything being back up, I just went over and checked things out. What I've seen looks great so far. Was more shocked looking at some of the NPCs and seeing some I had completely forgotten creating. Gonna have to get all the stuff I did and create a personal sourcebook or something so I can still use it.
