One thing, would you make it imune to stun weapons? Or cause of the flesh overcoat, would it be still supseptible? Also, would they smell different to other races, who have higher powers of smell? Would ion weapons work on it? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

As for stun weapons: Maybe. It would depend on the amount of bio mass involved, also, stun weapons overload the human nervous system, an electrical system, so it would probably be affected by stun if it was high tech electronics inside.
For ION weapons, Maybe as well. Just like above. I would say yes. The electronic parts are more succeptible to ION damage unlike living beings more resistant cells.
Unless they have special organs that simulate body odor or bad breath, they would end up smelling like the environment the live and work in. If that includes working with a bunch of hairy, sweaty, greasy wrench jockeys, then they would smell like them. Creatures that can smell pheromones and such might be tipped off that something is different if a very difficult or heroic roll is made. Just like scanners.

That's another thought, Tahlorn. You might include pheremone emitters to aid in the overall disguise. If your replicant can exude pheremones- especially if it can tailor them to specific genders/species- then it'll have a distinct tactical advantage. |

Prob is, not many people actually bother thinking of how they smell to other races, so might not even think of that. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Right... I didn't mean it in the sense of using it to prevent them being tagged by someone with high olfactory acuity; I meant more along the lines of being able to sway others' inclinations toward the droid by way of pheremone manipulation. If it's putting out like a Falleen, others around it are going to have to start making resistance rolls, unless there's some reason they're immune to such effects. |
