Life has had me rather busy with other things sense January.
However I will work on this, the following month or so should free up some time that will be put into this tool so updates will be coming, and unless something unexpected comes up it should come soon as well. _________________ Visit My site to download the Star Wars d6 Tools: Its a work in progress |

Im currently working on a tool, not a "character creator" even if I plan to add that ability to it as well.
Its main use will be to keep track of everything, including different campaigns etc.
My days are rather full so it takes time to get anything done on it.
Here is a first look at it in its current state:

Couldn't get this to work on Win Vista, is this specific to a certain OS?
Throws an error after clicking 'Install' that /bin/SWCT.exe is not able to be opened or something...

It could be because you installed it somewhere that the users dont have write access to, only admins.
Try to ether install it in another location where you have write access (recommended)
Or run it as administrator (right click and select run as administrator). _________________ Visit My site to download the Star Wars d6 Tools: Its a work in progress |

Ran as Admin, and this is solely my computer so I have access to everything...
Will play around with it though, thanks!

[EDIT]
Could also be Vista... Hate Vista, will try on my Win7 as well... |

Actually UAC in vista makes it so that the "normal" user doesnt have full access to everything, thats why you need to run it as admin to get that access, its the same problem with win7 I believe. _________________ Visit My site to download the Star Wars d6 Tools: Its a work in progress |

Wow, this is amazing.
A tool to keep track of everything is actually something I'd really enjoy. As I game only on the laptop it will make it easier to have less windows and files to keep track off. |

Got the tool to work, admin rights....
As for the screen shot of the new tool you're talking about (sorry for diverting the conversation) it looks really neat and I would also be very interested in such a program.
I too do most of my gaming on a laptop, so having something to keep track of everything would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmm anyone have this program? I went to the link that was provided and it took me to I think an all Russian language page, maybe Polish, I don't know, certainly something slovak. I did not see a download link nor anything in reference to "star wars", "d6" or "tool". This looks very interesting. I see it was in development in later 2011. Has any additional work been done on it? _________________ Don Diestler

I'm pretty sure I've got a copy of it somewhere. I'm not sure that it came over when I got my newest hard drive, but I'm pretty meticulous about backups. I'll look for it. Just ping me if I don't get back to you in a couple of days. I'm in the middle of grading philosophy finals and so things kind of slip my mind. _________________ __________________________________
