Okay, this thing is way too much fun.
https://rpggamer.org/main.php?page=cec-designer/cec-designer.php
The YT Series generator is an online app that lets you pick from different layouts and modules of YT-Series ship designs. In the end, you can generate a larger image and a stat block of the ship. Fun tool to play around with.
EDIT: Ugly Generator added! See post below.

Very nice. Do you know how to get in touch with the creator about adding additional options? There's something I've always wanted to see on a YT-1300... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. Much nice. I'm already in touch with him on FB. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

Damn, where was this when I needed my GM to let in more stuff other than what was in the game books? |

Why is there no love for the YT-1930 here? Of all the CEC YT light freighters, the 1930 was my favorite.
EDIT: Never mind, I just found the 1930 rear cargo pods. 8) 8)
EDIT 2: But there aren't any 1930 thrusters. Hmm. And the 1400 cockpit isn't quite a match for the original 1930 cockpit. And while a couple of the engine types are similar, there isn't a direct match for the 1930 engines either. I think I'll need to contact this guy.
But aside from all that, it is a pretty remarkable ship creator. _________________ Sutehp's RPG Goodies
Only some of it is for D6 Star Wars.
Just repurchased the X-Wing and Tie Fighter flight sim games. I forgot how much I missed them. |

This is fun! I just wish I'd found it before midnight. So many options...
Now we just need a starfighter ugly generator... _________________ Aha! |

It is remarkable. The purpose of this is to create new classes of ships, so I don't see that every component of every ship needs to be identical to existing ships. Don't make a 1930 clone. Make something new. _________________ *

For laughs, go through and select ALL the options, then hit Generate Ship. You won't be disappointed. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. This was fun! I crafted a quick custom ship myself based solely on aesthetics. _________________ RR

10D Hull! Check out those sensor ranges! Yes, it looks like something a Squib would build but I love it.
