I am sure many of you already have stumbled on this, if not, check it out. I thinks it's pretty cool.

I've seen part of this before, but this is so incredible! I'd love to see a full movie or series based off of this. _________________ Currently playing D&D 5E and painting an unholy amount of miniatures. |

It is one of the coolest fan made things I have ever seen. It also paints the empire in a better light as a better fighting force. I also loved how they added the interdictor cruiser since many noob fans don't even know what it is. I also loved its unique defense of creating a gravity well to pull in proton torpodeos. Might have to try that in one of my games. |

I thought this was an excellent use of the gravity well generators. Reminded me of Transformers: The Movie when Hot Rod and Kup inverted polarities on Galvatron's incoming missiles.
Perhaps this could be a secondary function of an interdictor during fleet engagements--missile defense. _________________ Currently playing D&D 5E and painting an unholy amount of miniatures. |

The problem is that in order for them to be an effective missile defense, they would have to be close to the battle and I would see them being along the edge of the battle for safety. It would also be interesting if the gravity well could pull starfighters onto it as an anti starfighter defense. |

An anti torpedo field was one of the Interdictor's special abilities in the Empire at War game, so that may have been the inspiration.

I could see tractor beams being used to push missiles away... _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

The thing I hate is all the fake fans asking why all the pilots don't look like Jango Fett in the video. Those people really piss me off. |

Hate requires too much energy. I prefer to feel smugly superior. _________________ "No set of rules can cover every situation. It's expected that you will make up new rules to suit the needs of your game." - The Star Wars Roleplaying Game, 2R&E, pg. 69, WEG, 1996.

I guess, but they really need to watch the original trilogy and notice that all the officers are normal people and all the troops have different voices. |

So true, we are cooler than most of the other fans. They just don't realize it yet. |

I don't even read comments on videos anymore - stopped a long time ago. Most are people just trying to tear down someone else work sadly. It's gotten worse since google took over and turned into it's own social media engine and restricted commenting to only people who create google+ profiles and social pages... cause, yeah, the interwebz needed more trolling - thanks google. _________________ "There's a set way to gain new Force Points and it represents a very nice system, where you're rewarded for heroism, not for being a poor conductor to electricity." ~Jachra |

I was having the same issue, and I linked to it from Youtube's pages... it's something screwy with youtube I am afraid.
