So say i have a rich fop who for what ever reason wants to install a point defense laser system for hitting those pesky enemy missiles fired at his lovely space yacht. What would the cost/fire control/damage be? Would a droid brain controlling it at say 7d+2 be good enough? What would it's cost be? _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Point defense weapons are really nothing more than starfighter scale weapons installed on a capital scale ship. What is your yacht's scale? Wouldn't it be easy enough to make a few small adjustments from Tramp Freighters to install the weapons? _________________ __________________________________
Before we take any of this too seriously, just remember that in the middle episode a little rubber puppet moves a spaceship with his mind. |

Pointe defence weapons should focus on RoF over Damage to put a large amount of 'lasers' in space. This should result in a high 'fire control' and low damage. |
