ok several reasons you could find a set of Mandalorin armour.
Firstly: after Fett became sarlac food, the Alliance impounded his ship, im sure he would have kept replacement parts on there, and seeing as the alliance got into the ship, any armour found would most likely fetch a very high price on the black marke. Just hope he doesnt want his armour back one day.
Secondly, watching the clone wars we see Obi-wan go up against a whole unit of mandalorin armoured guys called Deathwatch i think, now they are all wearing the same armour, weapons and rocket packs.
Now thats only maybe 17 years before Ep4. So possible somewhere there could be a whole armoury of this stuff, most likely some lost mining installation of Mandolore planet Obi-wan goes too.
Third, um....well why not come across a really ancient set from thousands of years ago? Back from before the Republic or Empire.
As for Jodo Kast Fett takes peices of his armour saying he doesnt deserve it,and places it on Slave 1. _________________ "To find our future, we must look to our past" |

Does it have to be Boba's Armour or could it be from a lesser know Mandalorian?

I'm sure you can come up with something similar.... _________________ "Well hello Mister Fancypants. Well, I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things, right now: Jack and s**t... and Jack left town." - ASH

There's still plenty of Mando's out there. I don't see why your group couldn't run afoul of a bounty hunter... and hey, it just be wasteful not to roll the body for loot! Particularly if the armor is true Beskar'gam. |

IIRC though, don't most mando's have a self destruct built into their suits to prevent looting. _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |

Never heard that about the self destruct, do you have a resource for that? _________________ "To find our future, we must look to our past" |

In the Republic Commando novels, I remember very clearly that one of the Clones (Fi, if I remember right) continually loots dead Mandos for pieces of armor. So I don't recall any self-destruct being present there. It's also common practice to take a piece of a fallen comrade's armor to remember them by, so, it strikes me that having a self-destruct would make this highly impractical.
It's not to say that there aren't Mandos who rigged their suits to blow. |

Probably solo operators like Fett would be so devious. Although, rigging a suit to blow before you're dead might be a bad thing. What if one is incapacitated, and someone tried to remove the armor to treat them... Haha, poor guy gets knocked out, then blown up by the medic. |

I know in the legacy era, 2 of the mando's that went with Jaina had self destructs in their armor, and i also was in a module where that happened... _________________ Confucious sayeth, don't wash cat while drunk! |
