Ah, the ship with the galaxys largest windscreen... Laughing
(just start from the 350m length and do the math, its a football field)

Btw, its minimum crew is 500 according to Starship Stats which I hold more correct than wookie.

However, the main problem is that its solidly an Imperial ship. One of the points was to have a ship with several affiliation to not stand out as an imperial agent.

Pirates and Privateers have some good ships around pages 70'ish.

My first choice from what it sounds like you need would be a Modified Container Ship.

Still a "Starship" scale (not capital scale), crew of 100, skeleton crew of 50 / +10, and 25 Million Metric Tons of cargo space (which part of which could be made into a hangar bay). It has no weapons or shields, and a poor space move, but with upgrades it can be made better and you'd have something with a hangar bay if you do it correctly.

My next suggestion, would be a Marauder Corvette (p.78 of Pirates and Privateers). Crew of 129 + 48 Gunners (177 Total Personnel, skeleton of 52 / +10), additional room for up to 40 "Passengers" (or troops), 300 metric tons of cargo space, an alright space move (5), 8 Double Turbo-laser Cannons (3D fire control and 5D damage), 3 Tractor beam emplacements, and a 12 ship starfighter compliment.

The latter sounds more along the lines of what you're looking for (and that's just some of the things un-modified). On a capital ship you're looking at least around 150 - 200 personnel minimum (more than that if you get into the really big ships).

Ahh, didn't catch the un-affiliated. Yeah, 2 seemed very low to me too.

The Bulkfreighter as a 'fighter bay' idea is in use, but will used for another adventure. For this guys main ship I will need a warship. I looked at the marauder corvette, and unfortunately its to small. It has 12 starfighters which is enough, but as allready mentioned only 40 troops. My deckplans shows 2 assault shuttles of some kind in the front part of the ship, but I cant see what kind. Also, I cant figure out if one of those bays would fit a light transport. With 300 metrics of cargo it cant handle any vehicles. However, its a perfect 'secondary ship'.
